New for 2008!!!!

Tales from the Downs and beyond...

We are excited to announce our new series of fascinating early evening talks for 2008.

All speakers are specialists in their field and the majority also teach other courses for us. On these evenings they will share their knowledge in a relaxed talk, with illustrations when appropriate. Questions and discussion will be welcome and refreshments will be served afterwards.

The first talk in April will be Danae Tankard's talk on Researching a House History. Subsequent talks are on dowsing and then local wildlife with Richard Williamson.

The Museum is a centre of excellence in Building Conservation and provides an expanding range of  learning programmes from the academic to the practical and recreational.

Enquiries about these, and other courses yet to be announced, to Diana Rowsell, Head of Learning. We are very receptive to the needs of the conservation industry and  set up bespoke courses for small groups of surveyors, architects and conservation officers on request. Please let us know the needs of your organisation.

The museum is grateful for the support received for its continuing education programme from the Sargent Charitable Trust and the Mitford Foulerton Trust.
