We are an independent charity and care for a Designated collection of over 50 historic buildings and 16,000 artefacts. By visiting the Museum, buying a coffee in the café or coming on a course, our visitors are helping to conserve and preserve history for future generations to enjoy. However, such is the cost of caring for the collection, we are reliant on further donations, especially for larger scale conservation projects.
