Please note: There is an event taking place at the Goodwood Estate over the weekend of the 18 & 19 April. We recommend you plan your route to the Museum before leaving as some local roads may be closed. We are open as usual over this weekend and look forward to welcoming you.
Parking at the Museum
Parking is available onsite at the Museum, where we operate two car parks.
As of Monday, 30 March we will be operating our car parks as follows:
- Pay & Display car park: For our Museum Members and Blue Badge holders, along with pre-booked coach bays. This is signposted to the left as you enter the Museum grounds. Members must display their car parking sticker (please ask in the shop if you have not yet received one – they will issued from the Museum on your next visit).
- Café visitor parking: This will be available along the road behind the café. We ask that visitors only use these spaces if they are visiting the Café only.
- FREE car park: For all visitors to use. This is signposted to the right as you enter the Museum grounds and is approximately 400 yards from the Cafe and shop. On parking in this car park, there is a short 5-minute walk to the Museum entrance via the shop.
By Road
The Museum can be reached via the A286 Chichester to Midhurst road. The postcode is PO18 0EU. There is a free car park and disabled parking spaces are available opposite the Museum shop.
By Bus
Stagecoach
Catch the Stagecoach 60 service, which runs between Chichester Cathedral and Midhurst – the Museum is a 5-minute walk from the Grooms Yard stop in Singleton.
Buses run every 30 minutes Monday – Saturday. On Sundays buses run every hour. For an up-to-date timetable visit the Stagecoach website

By Train
The Museum is 7 miles from Chichester rail station and 15 miles from Haslemere station. Visit the National Rail website for trains and timetable information.
By Cycle Routes
You can access the Museum on Bicycle via the Centurion Way route from Chichester City Centre.

We have a cycle rack available in our main car park, adjacent to the disabled parking bay. Cycles must be secured to the rack (please bring your bike locks), we ask that visitors do not prop or park their cycles in the Museum entrance near to the shop and café.
