What’s On at the Museum
Come and experience 1,000 years of rural life in one remarkable open air site. We offer a range of exciting seasonal activities throughout the year, although even a non-activity day is a great adventure too.
Our Museum Activity weekends showcase the past to the present with various demonstrations and activities around the Museum site, in and around our historic houses. With different themes throughout the year, you can see, hear and take part in activities from the past as we see how we have learnt from these in the present day.
Family Activity dates include our: Summer open air theatre, school holidays and special event days. We also have some dates throughout the year when you can take part in intergenerational courses, learning a new craft or skill at the Museum.
Whether you are 5 or 95 – there is something for everyone!
See our full list of activities and events below.
