Food and Drink at the Museum this August
To better serve you and your fellow visitors, during August our café will be eat-in service only; perfect if you’re looking to take your time over a relaxing lunch overlooking the millpond and watermill. Click here to see our menu. Inside the Museum, we will have three further outlets to cater for all of your picnic needs:
The kiosk, which you can find just outside the entrance galleries, will serve hot/cold drinks, takeaway sandwiches, snacks and ice cream
Our Shepherds Hut, at the stables crossroads (about half way round the Museum – you might even think we’d planned it that way) will also serve hot/cold drinks, takeaway sandwiches, snacks and ice cream.
And finally, in our picnic field we will have a changing hot food offer, brought to you by a variety of small scale, local food businesses. Across the month, you’ll find everything from wood fired pizza to galettes and crepes to tacos and loaded fries and wedges.
Our intention is to make it easier, faster and more convenient for you to get the service you need so you can spend more of your time enjoying your summer with us.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Please note that the café stops serving hot meals at 3pm daily – snacks, drinks and ice creams are available from the counter until closing.
