Modern Buildings

A small number of modern buildings at the Museum site fulfil specific purposes, from the modern Gateway building that houses the shop, café, community space and introductory galleries to the iconic Downland Gridshell building, our workshop and artefact store. These buildings are designed to use traditional materials in a modern way.
