knitting block by block 2

How to Knit, Block by Block – Aran and Textured Patterns

Course Description

Knitting small square sampler pieces, participants will learn and practice cable patterns adding bobbles and twists to create traditional Aran style samples and different textured patterns which can be used for future projects.

There will be an opportunity to learn about the heritage of Aran knitting and some of its history as well as to create your own designs. Participants will take home small sample blocks of patterns they have created. If you have learned to cast on, can knit a few rows and would like to take this a step further, then this course is for you.
