Louise Fitton
Louise Fitton has over 25 years of experience in the cultural heritage sector. She is currently Head of Culture, Heritage & Green Space at Essex County Council, where she oversees a diverse portfolio including medieval barns and mills, country parks, the Essex Record Office and the newly established Essex Film Office.
Her previous roles include Head of Museum, Galley and Archives for London Borough of Waltham Forest, where she led the internationally acclaimed William Morris Gallery. Louise has also held senior positions at the National Trust as Head of Visitor Experience, London & South East and the Natural History Museum as Head of Content Production.
In addition to her professional work, Louise is an active mentor within the sector, supporting emerging talent and leadership.
She lives in London with her husband Ben
