Weaving Weekend

The Course

Two days tapestry weaving on a simple frame (which is then yours to take home). During the course you will create a ‘woven notebook’ of traditional and 3D weaves using colourful yarns. By the end of the weekend, you’ll have the skills needed to produce your own wall hangings at home

The Tutor

Hilary Charlesworth exhibits her work, details of which can be seen on www.totallytextiles.co.uk. She teaches workshops in a number of textile skills and is a member of the Institute for Learning.

Participant Information

All equipment and yarns provided. You might like to bring a notebook and camera.

Fee & Refreshments

£150 per person, to include tuition, teas and coffees. If you have any other dietary requirements please let us know in advance.
