
Traditional Woodcut Printing
The Course
During the course, you will learn about the historical craft of woodcut printing before going on to create your own woodcut prints, exploring the materials, techniques, and illustration styles of the medieval times and later.
The Tutors
Will Dyke trained in Illustration and Printmaking at Harrow College, University of Westminster.
Will specialises in woodcut printing, and teaches regular workshops and classes. Much of his work is inspired by rural life and history.
Participant Information
All materials will be included for the course but if you wish to buy further materials from the tutor this will be possible
This course takes places in the Downland Gridshell which can be cool so it is advisable to wear layers.
Fee & Refreshments
£95 per person, to include tuition, teas and coffees. If you have any other dietary requirements please let us know in advance. The Museum cafe will be open, or you may wish to bring a packed lunch.
