Weald & Downland Living Museum celebrate the launch of The Repair Shop: World War II book with an exclusive book signing event on Wednesday, 10 September at 5:30pm with experts including Dom Chinea & Will Kirk.
About the book:
The latest book based on the BBC’s BAFTA Award winning show, The Repair Shop: World War II marks the 80th anniversary of the ending of World War II by sharing objects from the era and the stories behind them.
Chapters include Secrets and Spies; The Home Front; Children and the War; War in the Skies and Seas; The War Abroad; and Homecoming & Remembrance.
See inside the home workshops of the experts for the first time as they share their favourite World War II repairs. Featured experts are Brenton West, Mark Stuckey, the Teddy Bear Ladies, Suzie Fletcher, Dom Chinea, Kirsten Ramsay, Chris Shaw and Steve Fletcher.

The Event
Tickets for the event are limited and priced at £25 each. The ticket strictly gives you x2 admission tickets and x1 hardback copy of the book to the book signing which is located in the Museum gallery – there will be no access to The Repair Shop during this event.
Due to the capacity of the venue we will not be allowing additional guests to enter the book signing event. Additional books are not able to be purchased on the evening to enter the book signing. To book your spot please follow the link.
