Here at our Museum we have over 1,000 years of rural life in our remarkable open air site.
Our interpretation team showcase how people may have lived or worked in our historic buildings, with a range of demonstrations and activities, along with some members of the team dressed in replica historic clothing in some of our houses.
As part of our interpretation programme we look at ‘The Ritual Year’, which looks at the celebrations, festivals and traditions that were celebrated in the past to the present and how they have changed over the years.
Below is a list of dates and activities that will showcase elements of ‘The Ritual Year’ within some of our historic houses.
