Museum at Night: Family Tale Trail (Ticketed) – fully booked
Book now for our Museum at Night family-friendly guided walk! This special evening is designed for families to enjoy an enchanting walk which offers a truly out of the ordinary experience.
You will be guided by lamplight to different spaces around the Museum, to hear a series of folklore and historical tales of mysterious places, magnificent creatures, spooky happenings and magical adventures!
Suitable for ages 7+, accompanied children will join a small group, guided by one of the Museum team, to walk to different spaces to hear five twilight tales.
Children (under 18s) must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are limited and must be booked online in advance.
Information for participants
Please wear good shoes, expect to walk up and down hill* – bring a torch to explore the buildings if you would like to.
Some stories will be told outdoors (moved inside if wet) and the others will be inside, around an open fire, which may be smoky. There will be space to sit down and you will go around in a small group.
You will be offered warm apple juice and a biscuit.
We ask everyone on this evening not to film or take photos of other participants or the storytellers. We encourage you simply to sit back and listen.
Please note that dogs are not permitted at this event (with the exception of assistance dogs).
Meet at 4.45pm for a 5pm start. Walk lasts until approx 7.15pm.
Adults must be accompanied by a child responsible for them, and vice versa.
