Driving Heavy Horses

The Course
Harness up and drive the Museum’s draft horses in the field and on the track, chain harrowing, and shaft and pole work. Beginners and improvers equally welcome.
The Tutor
Andrew Robinson is the Weald & Downland Museum’s working animals supervisor. Responsible for taking care of the Museum’s three heavy horses and working with them.
Participant Information
Lunch is included, please bring any other refreshment you may need. Everyone must wear sensible warm and waterproof clothing and suitable steel toe-cap footwear and gloves.
Fee & Refreshments
£90 per person per day, including tuition and lunch. please bring any other refreshments you may need. Please advice the museum in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
