The Course

A mix of theory and practice using the Museum’s team of heavy horses. An introduction to stable care, feeding, harness and safe handling of draft horses.

The Tutor

Andrew Robinson is the Weald & Downland Museum’s working animals supervisor. Responsible for taking care of the Museum’s three heavy horses and working with them.

Participant Information

Lunch is included, please bring any other refreshment you may need. Everyone must wear sensible warm and waterproof clothing and suitable steel toe-cap footwear and gloves.

Fee & Refreshments

£90 per person per day, including tuition and lunch. Please let the Museum know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
