Christmas at the Museum
Christmas is a wonderful time to visit the Museum and enjoy the atmosphere of our historic homes, which have been decorated to reflect how this special time of year has been celebrated over the centuries.
From Tudor to Victorian times, a historic festive treat awaits visitors on weekends in December, plus Boxing Day and Wednesday 27 December, when the Museum’s traditionally decorated houses will reflect the spirit of Christmas through the ages.
See what’s on:
Enjoy a warm welcome in the medieval House from North Cray, with its log fire and traditional greenery decorations. Our team will be serving spiced apple juice as well as spiced biscuits, for which donations are welcome.
All activities are subject to change.
The Museum is open from 10.30am until 4pm for Christmas at the Museum. We hope that you can join us at this wonderful time of year. Regular admission prices apply (free for Annual Members) and dogs on leads are welcome.
Our waterside café is open from 9.30am – 4pm (hot food orders cease at 3pm). Our cafe is dog friendly too.
