Traditional Woodcut Printing

The Course

Learn about the historical craft of woodcut printing. On this course you will create your own woodcut prints, exploring the materials, techniques, and illustration styles of the medieval times and later.

The Tutors

Will Dyke trained in Illustration and Printmaking at Harrow College, University of Westminster.
Will specialises in woodcut printing, and teaches regular workshops and classes. Much of his work is inspired by rural life and history. He is also the organiser of the annual Printmakers’ Exhibition in Chichester.

Participant Information

All materials will be included for the course but if you wish to buy further materials from the tutor this will be possible

This course takes places in the Downland Gridshell which can be cool so it is advisable to wear layers.

Fee & Refreshments
