Mushroom Dorset Button

The Course

Create a set of beautiful mushroom Dorset buttons which can be made into a small wreath. This is the perfect opportunity to learn several different button making techniques, with tips on how customise your project under our expert guidance. You’ll go home with some unique Dorset buttons to decorate your home or gift as a present. Materials and worksheets included.

The Tutor

Jen Best was taught by her Grandmother to make Dorset buttons, to knit, crochet, sew and embroider. A few years ago she learnt to spin and felt. Her addiction to wool and woolly pursuits has lasted for over 30 years. She has been teaching buttons for almost as long as she has been making them. She designs knitting and crochet patterns, all involving Dorset buttons. She also designs Dorset button jewellery and button kits.
