Our award-winning museum is a wonderful destination for a school trip. We welcome learners of all ages and abilities and are proud to hold both the Sandford Award for Heritage Learning and the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge.
With a focus on our rural heritage and its relevance today, our engaging school workshops bring the past to life through unique storytelling, immersive hands-on activities, and outdoor learning opportunities. Students can also explore our beautiful historic site, where buildings range from the Anglo-Saxon period through to the Edwardian era, offering a fascinating journey through time.
