Take on a challenge!
Feeling inspired and want to be apart of something historic?
As an independent Museum we receive no regular government funding so we must raise enough money each year to sustain and enhance our important Museum. As such, we are always on the lookout for amazing people who are willing to go the extra mile and organise a fundraiser themselves!
The possibilities are endless – Maybe you could have a bake sale, host a quiz, a car wash or a family fun day at your local community space, or if you are a bit of an adrenaline junky why not try a challenge event?
Challenge events are a great way to get involved. Fancy an adventure? A Trek somewhere adventurous or a long cycle ride are just a couple of ideas but you are only limited by your imagination!
Recently one of our lovely talented volunteers has been painting fantastic dog portraits for other staff and volunteers and all the profits he has kindly donated to the museum. Do you have an arty streak? Another fabulous fundraising idea!
We have wonderful gardens here at the Museum and in the surrounding villages – Why not club together with your neighbours and open your gorgeous gardens up to the public?
We would love to support you in your fundraising effort and can provide you with a donation box to help you on your way!
Wall of Fame
Don’t forget to send us a photo of your fundraising efforts so we can put you on our wall of fame!
