Working Animals Supervisor, Andy, has a second Percheron joining him and our team of working horses. At three years old, Thor is too young for various tasks but will slowly begin his training.
When Andy arrived at the Museum three years ago he came with his Percheron horse, Kash, who regularly works here alongside Ollie and Leon. Over the last few months many visitors will have seen Andy ploughing with Kash, Ollie and Leon together, as he prepared the ground for this season.
