Marketing Assistant

Part time (20 hours per week), £10,400.00 per annum

We are looking for an individual with a passion for marketing and communications who can embrace the Museum and be an ambassador for the Marketing function.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the role is varied with lots of opportunities to get involved, but also to take ownership of some key areas within the marketing function. Boosting awareness, supporting and implementing campaign management and strategic goals, alongside engaging with the existing community on a daily basis is also an essential part of the role.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • extensive knowledge of digital platforms, web, email marketing, digital media, lead generation as well as more traditional methods in advertising and promotion
  • Competent use of InDesign, Publisher is desirable
  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is essential

Junior Chef (Fixed term to December 2019)

Full time (40 hours per week) Circa £17,000.00 per annum

We are looking for a proactive junior chef who shares our passion for offering fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce in our popular 135 cover cafe.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude who is happy to make sandwiches and step into the pot wash on occasion. You will also need to be customer focused with high standards of hygiene and some experience in a fast-paced catering environment.

The role covers work at weekends, bank holidays and the occasional evening as part of a rota. We do offer the opportunity to work in a beautiful location, however, your own transport is required.
