Trader and Exhibitor Information
In line with government guidelines the museum has assessed the ability to hold major events at the Weald & Downland Living Museum during 2020. Although some restrictions have now been lifted the museum will not be in a position to hold these events for the remainder of 2020. A decision for 2021’s events will be made later in the year.
Hello! Thank you for considering being a trader and/or exhibitor at the Weald & Downland Living Museum’s major events.
From 2020 onwards we are taking a seasonal approach to our events and will stage Four Big Weekender events, one for each season. Each will transform the museum into a thriving bustle of rural crafts, traditional countryside demonstrations, expert talks, family fun and artisan makers not to mention show ground parades and competitions.
Our Big Weekenders for 2020 are:
CANCELLED: 2 & 3 May – Spring Weekender – Spring Food Festival
CANCELLED: 15 & 16 Aug – Summer Weekender – Summer Steam Show
CANCELLED: 3 & 4 Oct – Autumn Weekender – Autumn & Countryside Show
CANCELLED: 20 & 22 Nov – Winter Weekender – Christmas Market
Each will have its own distinct feel and flair offering something different for visitors and traders alike. For more information about each show, follow the links above.
Alongside our Big Weekenders, for 2020 we will also stage The Rare & Traditional Breeds Show on Sunday 19 July, a one-day event celebrating the modern day farming community and their livestock.
