Trader and Exhibitor Information
Hello! Thank you for considering being a trader and/or exhibitor at the Weald & Downland Living Museum’s major events for 2019.
From 2019 onwards we are taking a seasonal approach to our events and will stage four Big Weekender events, one for each season. Each will transform the museum into a thriving bustle of rural crafts, traditional countryside demonstrations, expert talks, family fun and artisan makers not to mention show ground parades and competitions.
Our Big Weekenders for 2019 are:
5 & 6 May – Spring Weekender – The Good Life: Revive, Recycle, Restore
17 & 18 Aug – Summer Weekender – Saddles & Steam: Horse-Power to Horse-Power
5 & 6 Oct – Autumn Weekender – Pasture to Plate: Farming, Food & Horticulture
22, 23 & 24 Nov – Winter Weekender – The Christmas Market
Each will have its own distinct feel and flair offering something different for visitors and traders alike. For more information about each show, follow the links above.
Alongside our Big Weekenders, for 2019 we will also stage The Rare & Traditional Breeds Show on Sunday 14 July, a one-day event celebrating the modern day farming community and their livestock. More information about this show can be found here: https://www.wealddown.co.uk/events/rare-and-traditional-breeds-show/
How to apply
Before you apply we recommend that you read our Trader Information pack 2019. This gives you details of the events and the necessary documentation required to apply.
Once you are ready to apply, application forms are also below. There is a separate application form for 1 day events, 2 day events and 3 day events as the cost of pitches varies accordingly. Please refer to the dates above to check which application form you need.
Please note that making an application does not guarantee you a pitch. We endeavour to make each event unique and offer our visitors the chance to discover something new alongside their favourites. We will balance this against the applications we receive. Traders will be notified of their success by 22 March 2019.
By submitting an application, you are confirming you have read and agree to our terms & conditions.
