William Corbett Walk
William Cobbett took one of his famous “Rural Rides” through East Dean to Singleton on 2nd August 1823, and admired what he saw on the way. Starting at 2pm we will walk the same route – about 4 miles – ending up at the Museum for tea and a short talk about William Cobbett.
Richard Pailthorpe is the former Director of the Weald & Downland Living Museum.
Starts at 2pm and finishes at 4pm, with tea and cake. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, as some paths are uneven.
Details of the starting point and directions will be emailed a few weeks before the walk.
Fee & Refreshments
£15, including refreshments. Please let the Museum know if you have any dietary requirements.
