Weaving Weekend: Woven Tapestry for Beginners & Improvers

The Course

During the day we will explore both traditional and 3D techniques using a simple frame and a selection of colourful yarns. After the weekend, participants will have the confidence and skills to be able to work on their own designs using the techniques they have learnt.

The Tutor

Hilary Charlesworth who exhibits her work, details of which can be seen on www.totallytextiles.co.uk. She teaches workshops in a number of textile skills and is a member of the Institute for Learning.

Participant Information

All equipment and yarns provided. You might like to bring a notebook and camera.

Fee & Refreshments
