Weave A Landscape Tapestry Workshop

The Course

Using a simple frame loom (which is then yours to take home) and a variety of yarns to produce a woven landscape wall hanging. The emphasis will be on colour blending and both traditional and 3D techniques will be used during the day. No experience of weaving is needed.

The Tutor

Hilary Charlesworth who exhibits her work, details of which can be seen on www.totallytextiles.co.uk. She teaches workshops in a number of textile skills and is a member of the Institute for Learning.

Participant Information

Students should bring a notebook, any interesting yarns (in appropriate colour for landscape) they may like to use, and a camera if possible.

Fee & Refreshments

£75 per person, to include tuition, materials, teas and coffees. If you have any other dietary requirements please let us know in advance
