The Course

Make a leather belt pouch from English vegetable tanned leather for use in bushcraft, re-enactment, gardening or just walking the dog!

The Tutor

Jon Lewington is a design engineer with a lifelong interest in rural trades and crafts who specializes in recreating bygone leather objects using traditional methods.

Participant Information

All tools will be provided.

Participants are advised that stains will be used, so old clothes and/or an apron are recommended.

The course takes place in the Gridshell, it is advisable to wear layers as it can be cool.

Fee & Refreshments

£80 per person to include materials, tuition, tea and coffee. Please let the Museum know if you have any dietary requirements.

The Museum cafe will be open or you may wish to bring a packed lunch.
