The Course

Make a small leaded stained glass panel, and learn many skills including how to cut glass to a precise pattern and join pieces using lead cames. Suitable for beginners or those with some experience.

The Tutor

David Lilly trained in the art of stained glass in Brighton in 2001 and opened his studio in February 2002. David prefers to design and create three dimensional projects such as lighting and loves to combine new with old. Many of his lamps use bases from the 1960s and 1970s. He has experience in teaching beginners and more advanced students in a variety of settings. Visit David’s website at www.davidjlilly.com

Participant Information

The course is limited to nine participants, who will receive practical tuition and hands-on experience with materials provided. Please wear old clothing. All other materials will be provided.

Fee & Refreshments

£120 per person, to include tuition, materials, teas and coffees. The Museum café will be open or you can bring a packed lunch. Please let the Museum know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
