Introduction to Fairisle Knitting
The Course
You will learn how to knit a simple egg cosy in two different colours. In this course, you will learn how to follow a knitting chart, have a go at working with one colour in each hand, along with other methods of handling yarn without it ending up in a tangled mess! This workshop is for people with some knitting experience -you need to be confident with knitting, purling, casting on and off and working in the round.
The Tutor
Rachael Kay is a crafter and teacher based in Worthing. Having learned to knit as a child, she decided after many years of knitting and crocheting to share her passion for these traditional crafts and teach both in Worthing and beyond, which she has been doing for the past six years.
