Dementia Friendly Museum Session: Tudor herbs and medicine (Full)
As part of the Chichester District ‘Living Well with Dementia Festival’ the Museum is offering a series of short sessions with afternoon tea.
On Thursday 8 June 2017 we are offering a session on Tudor herbs and medicine. The Tudors thought that bad smells made them ill so we will make some nice smelling pomander beads in this session. As you mix the herbs and spices, the leader will discuss the different ingredients and interesting ideas from Tudor times.
Sessions run from 2.30pm – 4pm. £4 per person, including refreshments. We explore the topic for 45 minutes and then chat informally over tea and cake.
How to book
A small charge of £4 per person applies. If you are interested in taking part please phone us on 01243 811021 or email [email protected] to find out more and to book your place (pre-booking is essential).
