Conference 2017: Brexit and building conservation
As discussions about the implications of Brexit continue, this one-day conference will explore the potential consequences of Brexit for the building conservation sector from a UK and international perspective. Whether in terms of funding, training, international collaborations and the free movement of people, there are many areas that may be impacted.
Speakers representing UK-based organisations campaigning to maximise the advantage of Brexit for heritage, as well as European universities with conservation studies courses, independent bodies who support homeowners in safeguarding their built environment and governmental organisations tasked with protecting their national heritage.
By the end of the day, participants will have heard pan-European views on this topic, discussed and asked questions in the final forum section, and gained with a more detailed understanding of Brexit could impact our working environments, where opportunities lie and gained new insights from our international speakers.
