Rogation Sunday “Beating the Bounds”
Sunday 24 May 2020
Starts at 2pm
Rogation Sunday was the day when the local clergyman led his parishioners round the parish boundary to “Beat the Bounds”. Starting at 2pm we will walk round the boundary of the Museum – a
walk of about 2 miles, stopping to take in the views and interesting places around rarely-explored parts of the site, finishing with tea and a talk about the founding of the Museum 50 years ago.
Richard Pailthorpe is the former Director of the Weald & Downland Living Museum.
Starts at 2pm and finishes at 4pm, with tea and cake.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, as some paths are uneven.
Fee and refreshments
£25, including refreshments. Please let the Museum know if you have any dietary requirements.
