Come and visit a small 15th century military encampment at the Museum on the weekend of 21-22 May.
If a mini tournament had come to town what would you have seen? Come and see!
There will be displays of crafts and practical skill demonstrations in the morning, along with an archery display.
In the afternoon you can see how a knight prepared and the different pieces of armour they would have worn, followed by a small knights’ tournament. This tournament would have been a peace time sport for the knights.
