Louise Fitton
For the last 20 years Louise Fitton has been delivering world-class visitor experiences for museums, galleries and heritage attractions. Louise is currently Head of Museum, Gallery and Archives for London Borough of Waltham Forest, running the William Morris Gallery, Vestry House Museum and developing a new contemporary arts space for the borough. Prior to this she was Head of Visitor Experience (London & SE) at the National Trust.
Louise has formerly worked with both the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum. Louise has acted in senior project management roles on major gallery refurbishments and masterplan projects and programmes. Louise has also undertaken extensive international consultancy work, regularly giving talks internationally about exhibition development, master planning and the challenges of building compelling visitor experiences. Louise also acts as a mentor for Central St Martin’s MA Narrative Environments students.
Louise lives with her husband, Ben, in London.
