David Bailey
David Bailey is the Head of Historic Properties for English Heritage in the Isle of Wight, Hampshire and Dorset region with responsibility for the stewardship and future sustainability of sites including Osborne, Queen Victoria’s seaside estate on the Isle of Wight, Carisbrooke Castle and Portchester Castle. Prior to this he held the role of General Manager for the National Trust in the Chilterns region where he oversaw the conservation and development of Hughenden Manor and Estate near High Wycombe, over 3000 acres of the Chilterns AONB and a commercial let estate of over 100 properties and farm buildings. His career has also included time as a Project Manager for the National Trust and the Head of Operations & Commercial for Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
