Weald and Downland Open Air Museum - Site Map

TIMING To follow the red route with a brief pause in each building will take around 45 minutes.  To follow the yellow and the red route combined will take a minimum of 2 hours. The Gridshell tour starts at 1.45 p.m. and takes at least 45 minutes.  If you study each building and linger over demonstrations and in the café you will need at least half a day.  Don’t be in a hurry; there is much to see and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy.

SHOP The Museum shop  and ticket office are located in Longport Farmhouse(1)
REFRESHMENTS are available in the tea room adjacent to Sole Street (43) and on busy days at the Winkhurst Tudor Kitchen (14)
TOILETS Behind Longport Farmhouse (1), behind the Horsham Shop (25) and in the Kirdford Shed (15) near Bayleaf
CHILDREN  Please take special care of children on the site.  Working demonstrations and animals can be hazardous
DOGS are welcome but MUST be kept on a lead at all times
SMOKING will not be permitted in any of the buildings or open spaces or anywhere else within the curtilage of the site.  Smoking will only be allowed in the car parking areas.
