Winter workshops: On days that the Museum is closed in January and February schools can visit. As the other buildings are not open they will need to do back-to-back workshops. For details of the programme we offer during those two months please contact us on 01243 811459 for further details. From March to December we are open daily and the workshop fee above applies.

Guided tour: £33 per group of 15 (suitable for older children/college groups)

On any given day the demonstrations around the Museum will vary, but we have millers and blacksmiths working almost on a daily basis. Your school group will be met on arrival by staff who will let you about special things happening on that day. Under the ‘visit’ and ‘discover’ tabs of the website you can find out more about our beautiful historical site.
