MSc Programme Leader and MSc Programme Coordinator 

We have an opportunity for an MSc Programme Leader and Coordinator to lead, manage and facilitate the two MSc programmes in Building Conservation and Timber Building Conservation, validated by the University of York.

MSc Programme Leader (Part time – work pattern to be agreed)

The overall responsibility of the Programme Leader will be to take the academic lead in managing the two MSc programmes at the Weald & Downland Living Museum. The successful Programme Leader will have demonstrable experience in taking responsibility for the academic delivery and development of an MSc Programme or similar level qualification.

In addition, the leader should have the ability to establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with our partner University alongside the understanding and expertise to ensure compliance with academic standards.  Professional understanding of building conservation is essential.

MSc Programme Coordinator (Part time -50 days per annum)

The key focus of this role will be to work closely with the Museum and the Programme Leader to coordinate the delivery of the course by ensuring that timetabling is organised, finances are correctly handled and assignments and programme meetings are properly administered.

The role will suit a resourceful senior administrator with strong attention to detail, great customer service and IT skills. Professional understanding of the topics relating to building conservation is desirable but not essential.
