Spring half term activities
Wrap up warm and head to the Museum for five days of creative half-term family activities with a folkore theme from Monday 12 to Friday 16 February 2018.
From make and take activities to creative crafts – come and help to create a ferocious folklore creature or have your face painted as one! Also listen to a fireside story about historical monsters, heroes and unusual happenings. Activities vary daily, so there is always something new to see and to try!
Most activities are included in the admission price (free for Annual Members) but some activities ask for donations – these are clearly marked on the daily flyer, which will be posted on this page the evening before.
Wet weather will not spoil play as most activities are under cover. Activities run from 11am-3pm for accompanied children. Please wear clothes and shoes that are suitable for playing outdoors.
Dogs on leads are welcome and there is ample free parking.
Regular admission charges apply and the Museum will open at 10.30am and close at 4.00pm.
