Dementia-Friendly Session: Tastes of the Past: Bread & Pottage (Ticketed)

As part of the Chichester District ‘Living Well with Dementia Festival’, which runs for 7 weeks from mid-April to late May 2016, the Museum is offering a series of short sessions with afternoon tea.

On Thursday 21 April 2016 we are offering a session called Tastes of the Past: Bread & Pottage. Take a seat near the fire in our house from Walderton, as we mix a simple recipe and cook it on the fire. You can also have a taster of pottage, a thick soup, that many of our rural ancestors would have lived on as a staple of their diet. We will also take a look in the garden at what is growing there.

The walk will start at 2.30pm and will last for 45 minutes. Tea, coffee and cake will be served at the end of the session.
