The course

This day consists of talks on Old English ales and beers, then going to Tindalls Cottage to see the process mid brew with time to understand what the processes are there. At the end there will be time to taste some different ales and beers.

The tutor

Marc Meltonville, Royal Palace Food Historian, has worked on displays of historic cookery and the reconstruction of kitchens at many of the six Royal Palaces and countless Museums and Stately homes.

Participant information

It is advisable to wear warm layers as part of the day will be spend in an historic building.

Fee

£70 per person, including tuition, teas and coffees. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know in advance. The Museum cafe will be open or you can bring a packed lunch.
