Hands-on Tudors simple braid

The course

Learn how to weave a simple braid, from the items needed to make the finished product, how to prepare and set up. Create a small braid to take home.

The tutor

Catherine has worked with the Weald & Downland Museum as a historical Interpreter for many years and appeared in historical television programs such as BBC four’s Christina of Codicote, The Mud men, The History of the Home and BBC2 Ready Steady Cook. Participant information

This is an intergenerational workshop. The sessions are priced for two people booking together and the minimum age is 7 years.

It is advisable for participants to wear warm layers.

Fee and refreshments

£50 for two people per person, to include tuition, materials, teas and coffees and entry to the Museum. Please let the Museum know in advance any special dietary requirements.
