Magic! — we love children, and they love the Museum. You can go anywhere and touch anything. Plenty of space, and something different around every corner. But please be sensible and supervise as necessary — an open countryside site with animals and machinery has obvious dangers!

Activities — during half terms, Easter and the summer holidays we have special programmes of activities for children.

Events — many families come every year to their favourite events, such as the Sussex Christmas, Heavy Horse Spectacular (June), Rare Breeds Show (July), Steam Festival (August) and the Autumn Countryside Celebration (October). Click here for forthcoming events.
