Signs and panels — too much information "on the walls" smothers the exhibits, but too little leaves visitors all at sea! Each exhibit has a sign giving summary information, and there about a dozen other interpretive displays.
Audioguides? — We encourage talking, and as many volunteers and interpreters as possible are on site every day. But there are no tape recorders, headphones or wands available — just people!
Guided tours? — We do not provide guided tours of the site (except for booked parties — please enquire!). But every day at 1.30pm there is a tour of the Downland Gridshell building, and at busy periods there is a daily programme of "ten minute talks" at our main exhibit buildings.
