Willow basket

The course

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.   Your fingers will learn to weave and wale the willow, while you hear anecdotes about the history of basket making from your tutor, Deborah Albon.
English brown willow will be the material used and the techniques taught will be those which have endured through many generations of basket makers.
Everyone will have their own round basket to take home.
