9.30-12.30 (two linked sessions)
The Victorians loved to experiment with new materials and one of their favourites was papier mache. Make a minimum of two simple bowls– one from paper strips and one from paper pulp. Paper pulp will be supplied but full instructions will be given on how to make this.

£50 per person for the two linked sessions from 9.30-12.30 (you do need to attend both to make the items), to include tuition, teas and coffees. The Museum café will be open or you can bring a packed lunch.
The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum has over 45 historic building exhibits. It is also home to the award winning and innovative Downland Gridshell, which houses a conservation workshop and artefact store, and is also used for many practical courses. The Museum runs a full programme of courses in historic building conservation and traditional rural trades and crafts, along with MSc programmes in Building Conservation and Timber Building Conservation validated by Bournemouth University.
