David Lilly trained in the art of stained glass in Brighton in 2001 and opened his studio in February 2002. The first studio was in an 18th century Mews building, with it's old-world 'charm' and as business has got somewhat bigger the studio has moved to more modern premises in central Brighton. David prefers to design and create three dimensional projects such as lighting and loves to combine new with old. Many of his lamps use bases from the 1960s and 1970s. He has experience in teaching beginners and more advanced students in a variety of settings.
