Natural navigation (FULL)

Learn the practical basics of natural navigation. You will be out and about in the Museum site so will use your surroundings as examples. Starts at 2pm and finishes with tea and cake.

Period gardens walk

Spend an afternoon with the Museum gardener. See the transition of gardens from the early 16th century through to the late 19th century and learn about the herbs, vegetables and plants that met the needs of rural households over the centuries. Starts at 2pm and finishes with tea and cake.

Bat walk

Join our guided bat walk, where bat detectors will be used to locate and identify the different types of bat that live around the Museum site. A wonderful opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures. Starts at 7.15pm, finishes with hot drinks.
