An introduction to the art of dowsing, with a practical dowsing session and guidance on interpreting the findings. During the day you will:
· Examine dowsing in its historical context
· Learn basic techniques using different tools
· Participate in a practical session focussing on the Museum environment
Rosemary Hudson has been dowsing since being introduced to it by Dr Aubrey Westlake in 1980. She was the founder and convener of the West Kent Dowsers and is now a member of the West Sussex Dowsers.
She writes occasionally for local and national press and the journal ’American Dowser’. She has been on TV and radio and gives talks and exhibitions in the UK and Europe.
Rosemary currently works as a therapeutic dowser and writer. She is currently researching the nature of dowsing and is working on ’A Dowser’s Pocket Book.
This workshop will be limited to 15 participants to ensure that everyone has sufficient individual attention.
Please bring two wire coat hangers (in their original form). These will be your rods. Also please bring some fine string and a small weight to make a pendulum, and outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.
£50 per person, to include tuition, teas and coffees and a light lunch.
