S.Djärv Hantverk AB is a family business specialized in making hand forged tools in small series for woodcarving. They make a total of approximately 4000 tools per year. The tools are delivered sharpened, honed and shafted, knife blades are sharpened. They are made from steel specially designed for tool making and treated with heat several times, with highest quality is assured as standard.

During the years they have developed a functional assortment with focus on tradition: Spoon carving knives, carving knives, adzes, and drawknives. Tools for woodturning, sculpturing and hollowing, as well as a special range of tools for children.

Svante is the blacksmith in the company. He is forging and grinding all of the tools made at S Djärv. All his work is done with great feeling, pride and engagement. He is of course an important collaborator in our company amongst others, he has a deep knowledge about heating the steel and a feel for quality.
